Quarter-Sawn White Oak is admired for its distinctive grain pattern. “Quarter-Sawn” refers to the manner in which the wood is cut from the log that creates a straight, consistent grain pattern with a characteristic “fleck or ray” across the grain. Color may range from light to medium brown with occasional pin knots. A distinctively textured wood species with a straight grain pattern and a true-brown undertone that works beautifully with traditional looks, as well as transitional and soft-contemporary.
Your local Dura Supreme Showroom will have physical cabinet finish samples, cabinet door styles, and cabinetry displays at their showroom so you can see and feel the finish and wood species first-hand.
